Tom Kirk is a skilled Indigenous consultant who has been delivering cultural awareness training programs
across Australia since 1993. He is of the Gurreng Gurreng (Western Burnett River District QLD) and the Birri
Gubba people (Burdekin River District QLD). He also affiliates with the Northern Gamilaroy peoples of
NSW/QLD.

Tom's grandparents were removed as children to the Queensland Aboriginal Reserves of Cherbourg, Taroom and Woorabinda and his parents were born at Cherbourg and Woorabinda. Tom grew up
around these reserves and in the country town of Duaringa.

He brings to his programs his experience and knowledge of how to communicate across cultures, in particular Australia's Indigenous and non-Indigenous cultures, and delivers programs with a unique and engaging style.
